Would you like to join a pioneering barristers’ chambers? Cannon Chambers is a set of tax barristers that provides all the clerking and administrative support of a normal tenancy, without the bricks and mortar overheads. Our members work remotely, enabling clients and barristers and their clerks to interact and carry out consultations via video calls or by phone.

Barrister’s Clerk

Cannon Chambers is looking for a senior barrister’s clerk to join our team. The successful applicant will have experience of digital working in barristers’ chambers, including diary management, bookings, logging papers, delivering files and bundles, communicating directly with members, solicitors and their clients plus the tribunals and courts and also familiarity with barristers’ VAT and making tax digital and interface with Xero etc..

We are looking for someone who is flexible and happy to work remotely. You will also be open to providing wider administrative support, including digital marketing and website management, organising webinars and other digital events, assisting in marketing and business development and creation of electronic hearings bundles.
